What's new in Soffio

The first public release.

Added

• Dictation on your Mac with NVIDIA Parakeet: press the hotkey, speak, press it again, and the text is pasted where you are typing (or hold the key and release it). Speech is transcribed on your Mac in 25 European languages, offline and unlimited; English, Italian, Spanish, French, German and Portuguese also get tuned clean-up (fillers, spoken punctuation).
• Optional Groq cloud transcription with your own key, racing the local engine.
• A dictionary and snippets, and a style for each app or website.
• Command mode: select text and speak an instruction. In a field you can edit, the selection is replaced at once (Cmd-Z undoes it); otherwise the answer opens in a panel, where Enter pastes it.
• History and Stats, stored on your Mac.
• A soffio command and an MCP server for agents, off by default.
• The interface in six languages, following your Mac: English, Italian, Spanish, French, German and Portuguese (Brazil).
• Licence in Settings: enter your key, check it, deactivate a Mac, and keep working offline.
• Crash reports only if you choose to send them, and Copy Diagnostics for support.
• A 14-day free trial, then a one-time licence for up to 3 Macs.
• Updates inside the app.
